Beavers card a 324 on day two of Snowball's Chance

TIFFIN, Ohio - The Bluffton University men's golf team dropped 11 strokes from its Sunday score, shooting a 324 at Mohawk Golf Club on Monday, March 30, 2026.

Aaron Gerber (Vermilion) led the way with a team-low 76 on the way to a 159 at the Snowball's Chance event hosted by Heidelberg University. Sophomores Jack Wyant (Mansfield/Lexington) and Drake Sommer (Montpelier) both chipped in with 81's on the way to 163 and 170, respectively. Senior Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) went 81 and 87 for a 168 and sophomore Jackson Eichler (Atwater/Waterloo) rounded out the A squad with a 36-hole score of 175. 

Junior Carson Brubaker (Shelby) continued his play with a 79 one day after shooting an 81 as he paced the B squad with a 160. Sophomore Gavin Ferguson (Burbank/Norwayne) had a solid outing, shooting 86 and 83 for a 169. Matt Owen (Lima/Shawnee) went 87 on back-to-back days for a 174 at Mohawk.

Sergio Muniz (Milwaukee, Wis./Nathan Hales) and Kaden McWatters (Genoa/Genoa Area) both carded 96's on Monday en route to 36-hole scores of 192 and 198, respectively.

Bluffton will have a short week as it prepares for the Polar Beaver Invitational which tees of on Good Friday, April 3. Day one (9:30 a.m.) is slated for Hidden Creek with the finale hosted by Colonial Golf Club (9:30 a.m.) outside of Lima.
