BLUFFTON, Ohio - Senior Emma Organ (Lambertville, MI/St. Ursula Academy) was named Defensive Player of the Week for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference following her work at ONU and Denison last week.

Organ was all over the court this past weekend, scooping up 83 digs in 15 sets (5.53 DPS). She also led the Beavers with eight aces. Organ surpassed 1,000 career digs in Bluffton's win over Capital and she was named to the 46th annual ONU Invitational Volleyball All-Tournament Team for her work at Ada on Friday night! Organ picked up 43 digs in seven sets against Albion and Alma.

The Beavers will end their three-week road trip with a contest at Trine University on Tuesday, Sept. 23, starting at 6:30 p.m., before traveling back to campus to host the annual Sommer Center Spiketacular on Friday, Sept. 26 and Saturday, Sept. 27.
