BLUFFTON, Ohio - Freshman Madison Kutscher (Rossford) was named Defensive Player of the Week for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference following her work between the pipes against Anderson and Franklin. It is her second  HCAC Player of the Week award and marks the fourth time this season a Beaver from women's soccer has been honored!

Kutscher finished the week with 26 saves, including a ridiculous 17 in a 2-0 loss to HCAC-leading Anderson on Wednesday. She followed that with nine saves in Bluffton's 1-0 Senior Day shutout of Franklin on Sunday.

Bluffton is back at the Sears Complex for its fourth straight home match on Wednesday, Oct. 22, when Manchester University comes to town. Kickoff is slated for 3:30 p.m.
