Goerss and Manning named HCAC Players of Week

BLUFFTON, Ohio - Sophomore Keylee Goerss (Hamilton/Talawanda) and junior Hope Manning (South Charlestown/Southeastern) have been named Heartland Conference Players of the Week after leading the Beavers to victory at the Alice Lloyd College Last Shot Invitational over the weekend.

Goerss shared top honors with Manning at the Alice Lloyd College Last Shot Invitational with a score of 159 (+15) for 36 holes. She shot a 78 (+6) on day one of the Last Shot. It marked her career low and is the lowest score by a Beaver this school year. The Beavers shot a season-best 688 (+112) on the way to a tournament victory.

Manning equaled Goerss with a of 159 (+15) for 36 holes. She had a consistent showing over the two-day event with an 80 (+8) on day one and a 79 (+7) on day two.

Bluffton's women will be off next weekend before heading to the Heartland Spring Finale at Deer Creek Golf Club on Saturday, April 25.
