ANDERSON, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's golf team held fast to second place on the day two of the HCAC Fall Preview at Anderson Country Club on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025. The Beavers shot a 362 after carding a 359 on Saturday, adding up to a 721, just 17 strokes back of host Anderson University.
Junior Hope Manning (South Charleston/Southeastern) fired an 84 to lead the Beavers on Sunday. Keylee Goerss (Hamilton/Talawanda) and Gabby Green (Beavercreek/Carroll) went 89 and 91, respectively. Sophomore Kendall Van Horn (Wharton/Upper Sandusky) checked in with a 98, while Alyssa Begoon (New Madison/Tri-Village) shot a 109 in her only round of the weekend.
Goerss finished top 5 at the tournament with a 170, earning HCAC Preview All-Tournament honors, and Manning took 6th with a 171 for 36 holes. Green also made the top 15 with a 180 at the Anderson Country Club.
Bluffton will continue to hone its game at the course and in the simulator before resuming its 2025-26 season next March.
