TECUMSEH, Mich. - Day two at the Irish Hills Intercollegiate saw the Bluffton University women make huge strides, shaving a whopping 30 strokes off their score from Friday. The Beavers went 385 and 355 for a 36-hole score of 740 at Tecumseh Golf Club.
Gabby Green (Beavercreek/Carroll) was firing on all cylinders with a team-best 85 on Saturday. Fellow junior Hope Manning (South Charleston/Southeastern) followed with an 89.
Sophomore Keylee Goerss (Hamilton/Talawanda) and junior Alyssa Begoon (New Madison/Tri-Village) were on point, carding rounds of 90 and 91, respectively. Kendall Van Horn (Wharton/Upper Sandusky) nearly cracked 100 with a 101 after shooting a 117 in round one.
Following three straight weekend tournaments to kick off the 2025 fall season, Bluffton will be off until Saturday, Oct. 4, when the women host their annual Beaver Fall Classic. This year's rendition is part of the Bluffton University Homecoming festivities and is slated for the Bluffton Golf Club.
