Bluffton stands 2nd at IUK Spring Shootout

KOKOMO, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's golf team stands in second place, just three strokes behind Indiana East, after shooting a 323 on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Bluffton's top four scorers were separated by a mere three strokes as they all stand in the top 13 heading into the final round on Sunday.

Showing out in her first tournament this spring, sophomore Hope Manning (South Charleston/Southeastern) led the Beavers with an 80 which has her in 4th place. Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) was nipping at Manning's heels with an 81.

Fellow senior Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) fired an 82, while sophomore Jordan Hemmelgarn (Coldwater) carded an 83. Freshman Keylee Goerss (Hamilton/Talawanda) rounded out the Saturday scoring with a 95.

Round two from the Wildcat Creek Golf Club is slated for 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
