Cline places third at MSJ Stateline Shootout

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Bluffton University women's golf team continued its hot start to the sping with a 332 at Miami Whitewater Forest on Sunday, March 30, 2025. Bluffton went 337-332 for a 669 and a 2nd place finish to host Mount St. Joseph in Head Coach Ryan Turner's Beaver debut!

Wrapping up the tournament in style, senior standout Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) chipped in for an eagle on her last hole to secure 3rd place and a spot on the all-tournament team! She led the Beavers with a 78 after shooting a team-low 80 on Saturday, adding up to a 158 for the weekend.

Fellow senior Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) was just a stroke behind Cline on day two and she finished with a 163 for 7th overall as the Beavers put two in the top 10. Jordan Hemmelgarn (Coldwater) and Gabby Green (Beavercreek/Carroll) rounded out the counting scorers with marks of 170 and 178, respectively.

Freshman Keylee Goerss (Hamilton/Talawanda) stepped up with a 180, while Alyssa Begoon (New Madison/Tri-Village) chimed in with a 184.

Bluffton will be on its home turf next weekend when the 2nd annual Polar Beaver Invitational takes over both Hidden Creek and the Colonial Golf Club! The women kick off at Colonial on Friday, April 4.
