MARSHALL, Mich. - The Bluffton University women's golf team equaled its Friday score with another 322 on Saturday, Sept. 7, and the result was a school record-tying 644 for 36 holes! The Beavers took 3rd at a competitive event hosted by Olivet College.

A great start to the season was on the menu as Bluffton formed a tight-knit scoring box with four tallies between 80-81 on Saturday. Allie Waggener (Hilliard/Bradley) and Jordan Hemmelgarn (Coldwater) both carded 80's, while Kiley Cline (Fostoria/Hopewell Louden) and Hope Manning (South Charleston/Southeastern) chipped in with a pair of 81's. Gabby Green (Beavercreek/Carroll) dropped three strokes from Friday with a 98 in round two.

Cline and Waggener were on point with a pair of 159's for the weekend. Hemmelgarn was three strokes back with a 162 and Manning capped off her weekend with a 164.

Bluffton is back in the 419 for the Heidelberg Fall Invitational at Fostoria Country Club on Friday, Sept. 13 and Saturday, Sept. 14.
