BLUFFTON, Ohio - Grace Gronberg (Danville) has been named the Heartland Comference Pitcher of the Week after helping the Beavers to a 7-3 mark over the past seven days.

Gronberg went 4-1 with a 2.59 ERA across five starts for the Beavers last week. She tossed 27 innings with four complete games. The sophomore ace fired 30 strikeouts, finished with two shutouts and held the opposition to a paltry .218 batting average.

Bluffton will be on the road to Cincinnati for a Heartland Conference doubleheader at Mount St. Joseph on Thursday, April 16. Game one is slated for 4 p.m.
