BLUFFTON, Ohio - Kaylee Grant (Lima/Shawnee) has been named the Heartland Conference Hitter of the Week after helping Bluffton go 3-3 over its final three days at The Spring Games in Clermont, Fla.

Grant hit a whopping .556, going 10-for-18 as Bluffton went 3-3 on the week. She had eight RBI and scored seven runs with two doubles, three walks, and a stolen base. Grant finished with a .667 slugging percentage and a .636 on-base percentage.

The Beavers saw tough competition throughout the week and will be battle tested when Bluffton is back on the diamond at Heidelberg on Wednesday, March 18. Game one from Tiffin is slated for 3:30 p.m.
