Beavers kick off 2000 at Anderson Early Bird

"I'm very pleased with both teams. They ran better than what I expected. We pretty much trained through the first few meets, so they aren't fresh on race day. The women's team really stepped it up a notch knowing that they were missing three runners. Today's efforts and results reinforced what I told the teams all along: they can accomplish a lot of great things this year if they stay focused and positive throughout the season."
