Title: Head Golf Coach
Ryan Turner is in his third season as head coach of both the Bluffton University men’s and women’s golf programs.

With more than 16 years of experience in the golf industry, Turner has coached and taught in both public and private settings. Most recently, he owned and operated All Systems Golf Academy in Camarillo, California.

A Southern California native, Turner enjoyed a decorated playing career at both the high school and collegiate levels, earning multiple All-Region and All-Conference honors. He captured 17 individual tournament wins in high school, setting multiple school records along the way. At Ventura Community College, he played under former PGA Tour professional Bob E. Smith, earning First Team West Region honors in both seasons and helping his team secure a runner-up finish at the state championship. Turner then transferred to the University of Redlands, where he helped lead the program to their first conference championship in nine years and a fifth-place finish at the national championship.

Turner is a former PGA associate and holds certifications from the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and Trackman, along with extensive experience in club fitting. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Redlands.

“I am very excited to join the Beaver family and grateful for this opportunity to make a positive impact on the golf program, the university, and the Bluffton community,” Turner said. “I would like to thank James Grandey and the rest of the search committee for their confidence in me and for granting me this opportunity.”
