Bluffton shoots a 323 on day two at HCAC

RICHMOND, Ky. - The Bluffton University men's golf team shot a 323 on day two of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship. The Beavers stand 7th with a 642 heading into the finale on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

Mr. Consistency Aaron Gerber (Vermilion) shot his second straight two-over 74 on Saturday. He stands fifth in the talented field with 18 holes to play. Senior Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) rebounded with a 79, shaving 14 strokes off his Friday scorecard. 

Junior Carson Brubaker (Shelby) chimed in with an 83, while sophomores Drake Sommer (Montpelier) and Jack Wyant (Mansfield/Lexington) went 87 and 88, respectively, at Boone's Trace National Golf Club.

The men will wrap up the 2025-26 season at the HCAC Championships on Sunday, May 3. Round three is slated for 8 a.m.
