RICHMOND, Ky. - The Bluffton University men's golf team put together its best round of the season with a sparkling 301 on day one of the Alice Lloyd College Last Shot Invitational on Saturday, April 11, 2026. The Beavers have an 18-stroke lead over second-place Union College heading into the final day of competition thanks to their best round of the school year.

Junior Carson Brubaker (Shelby) fired a two-under par 70 and leads the event by three strokes! Brubaker's 70 propelled him into the top 5 all-time at Bluffton. Aaron Gerber (Vermilion) is four strokes back in third place after shooting a 74 on Saturday.

Sophomore Jack Wyant (Mansfield/Lexington) and Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) are both in the top 8 after carding rounds of 78 and 79, respectively. Sophomore Drake Sommer (Montpelier) rounded out the Bluffton contingent with an 84.

Bluffton will be back in action on Sunday, April 12, for the last round of the the Last Shot!
