RICHMOND, Ky. - The Bluffton University men's golf team shot a 341 at the HCAC Preview on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025. Combined with its 323 on Saturday, the Beavers capped off the 2025 fall slate with a 664 and 8th place finish at Boone's Trace National Golf Club.
Sophomore Aaron Gerber (Vermilion) and senior Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) both cracked the top 25 with two-day scores of 160 and 161, respectively. Carson Brubaker (Shelby) followeed with a 169, while Jack Wyant (Mansfield/Lexington) went 87-87 for a 174.
Jackson Eichler (Atwater/Waterloo) and Matt Owen (Lima/Shawnee) took far different routes but they finished the weekend with identical scores of 176. Sophomore Drake Sommer (Montpelier) carded a 182, while Gavin Ferguson (Burbank/Norwayne) tallied a 186.
Bluffton will put work in at the course and in the simulator before resuming its 2025-26 season next March.
