BLUFFTON, Ohio – The Bluffton University men's golf squad is set to tee up the 2025-26 season under Head Coach Ryan Turner who took over in March following spring break. In his first full season at the helm, Turner will look to his upperclassmen to pace the team as they get ready to compete this fall.

Coming back for his final run is senior Noah Macke (Columbus Grove), who finished the 24-25 season with an average score of 82.5, a solid two-stroke improvement from the previous season, and that included a 13th place finish at the That's Spring Golf in Northwest Ohio competition in April. Joining him is junior Carson Brubaker (Shelby) who returns after averaging 83.03 during his sophomore campaign. Finishing in the top 25 three times, Brubaker's best weekend came at the Anderson Spring Invitational when he finished t-15th with rounds of 78 and 82.

The Beavers bring back several sophomores, with Aaron Gerber (Vermilion) leading the pack after scoring 82.96 as a freshman. A notable finish for Gerber was at the Beaver Fall Classic where he shot a 76 and a 79, finishing +11 and tied for 12th. Jack Wyant (Mansfield/Lexington) averaged 83.95 in his debut season, while Drake Sommer (Montpelier) was just off Wyant's pace with an average of 84.10 in 10 events.

Bluffton will kick off the season on Sunday, Aug. 31, when they compete in a two-day event at the ONU Polar Bear Classic. The centerpiece of the fall schedule is the annual Beaver Fall Classic which will play out on Homecoming Weekend, October 4-5.
