Beavers place 8th at HCAC Championship

RICHMOND, Ind. - The Bluffton University men's golf team went 326 and 328 over the final two days en route to a 988 and 8th place finish at the HCAC Championships which capped off the 2024-25 campaign on a beautiful Sunday, May 11, 2025.

The five Bluffton men's golfers were separated by a mere five strokes on Sunday with junior Noah Macke (Columbus Grove) leading the way. She fired an 80 with Jack Wyant (Mansfield/Lexington) one tick back at 81.

Carson Brubaker (Shelby), Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) and Drake Sommer (Montpelier) went 83-84-85 on Sunday.

A 76 on Brubaker propelled the sophomore to a 25th place finish at the Forest Hills Country Club with a 245 for the weekend. Freshmen Wyant and Sommer wrapped up the tournament with three-day totals of 248 and 250, respectively. Veterans Macke and Tosi rounded out the season and for Tosi, his career, with 54-hole scores of 253 and 255.
