KOKOMO, Ind. - The Bluffton University men's golf team shot a 334 on Sunday, April 13, 2025, on the way to an 8th place finish at the IUK Spring Shootout. Bluffton went 327 ad 334 for a 661 at a tournament that featured quality NAIA competition at the Wildcat Creek Golf Course in Kokomo, Ind.
Senior Brayden Tosi (Springfield/Kenton Ridge) led the way for Bluffton, firing a 78 one day after his 79. He placed 11th with a 157 for the weekend. Sophomore Carson Brubaker (Shelby) and freshman Drake Sommer (Montpelier) both finished with identical scores of 164 although they took different routes to get there. Brubaker had a low of 78 on Saturdsy and Sommer shot an 81 on Sunday.
Freshmen Jack Wyant (Mansfield/Lexington) and Jackson Eichler (Atwater/Waterloo) went 176 and 181, respectively, after both shooting 89's on Sunday.
The Bluffton men are back in Indiana for the Earlham Spring Invitational on Good Friday, April 18, and Saturday, April 19.
