BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton Beavers Rocket League squad would get head-to-head with the Dakota State University Trojans, in a game that would be a battle in all four games. After the first game would go five minutes into overtime, it was a surefire indicator what was to come, as every game would come down to one point. While Bluffton made it close, they would be unable to come out on top, falling 3-1, dropping to 1-3 on the season.
The Beavers would open up the first game, scoring a last second goal as the clock hit zero to foce overtime, where after five minutes Dakota State would sneak in a goal to go up 1-0. Game two would be much like the first, with the Trojans sneaking out a 2-1 win in another close battle. Bluffton would be able to get on the scoreboard after pulling out a 2-1 win in game three, but with the fourth game tied 2-2, a late goal in the last thirty seconds would seal the 3-2 win in the game and the 3-1 victory for the Trojans.
Bluffton will look to rebound from this loss as they get set to play a pair of games next week, playing Utah State on Tuesday, Oct. 28 at 9:45 p.m. and California State University Dominguez Hills on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 8:30 p.m. You can watch all Bluffton esports events on Twitch at twitch.tv/blufftonesports.
