Heartland Conference release

BLUFFTON, Ohio - A pair of Beavers were named Honorable Mention All-Heartland Conference for the 2025 season following voting by the HCAC coaches. Graduate senior Jack Towell (Batavia/West Clermont) and junior Ayden Spriggs (North Lewisburg/Triad) collected All-HCAC hardware for their work on the diamond.

It marks the third straight all-conference honor for Towell who was named 2nd Team All-Heartland Conference the past two seasons. He hit .316 this year, including a red-hot .345 in Heartland Conference action. Towell led the team with 32 RBI, 25 runs scored and 11 two-baggers. He also drew 10 walks and was hit by a pitch 10 times.

He is at the top of the all-time lists with 211 games played, 210 starts, 815 at bats, 264 hits, 367 total bases, 152 runs scored and 178 RBI! The swiss army knife stands atop the Bluffton record book with 400 career assists, while his 709 chances are 6th all-time. He is also top five on the career list with 61 double plays.

Earning All-HCAC recognition for the first time is Ayden Spriggs. He started all 39 games, manning the hot corner for Bluffton in 2025. Spriggs hit .315 with 27 RBI (2nd to Towell) and 21 runs scored (3rd on the team). His 47 hits were 2nd to Towell and he smashed two homers to go along with his four doubles.
