BLUFFTON, Ohio - For the second consecutive week, the Bluffton University baseball team notched Heartland Conference Pitcher of the Week honors. Wyatt Groves (Marengo/Highland) worked his magic twice last week after fellow sophomore Andrew Collinsworth (Westerville/Westerville South) claimed HCAC Pitcher of the Week for his work against Mount St. Joseph.

Groves went 2-0 with a sparkling 0.82 ERA in 11 innings of work. He allowed just one run on seven hits for a miniscule .189 opponent batting average. Groves followed up his Wednesday victory at Albion with six innings of one-run ball on three days' rest as Bluffton handed Transylvania a 17-2 loss on Sunday afternoon. 

The Beavers will be back at Memorial Field when they welcome Rose-Hulman for a graduation weekend treat on Friday, May 5. Bluffton is looking to ride the momentum into two more wins with the first game slated for 1 p.m.
