ANDERSON, Ind. - The Bluffton University women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision at Anderson University on Saturday, Oct. 27, in the 2018 season finale. Anderson improved to 8-4-4 overall and 5-2-2 in the Heartland Conference, while Bluffton wrapped up the year with a 2-14-1 mark (1-8 HCAC).
Emily Buchman found the back of the net three times in first 18 minutes en route to the 4-0 Raven shutout on a muddy Saturday in Indiana.
Anderson finished with an 18-2 edge in shots while forcing all six corner kicks for the match. The home team was also whistled for four more fouls (7-3). Sophomore Sienna Sullivan (Columbus) came on in relief and notched eight saves over the final 71 minutes. Senior Skylar Liming (St. Marys/Memorial) put a shot on frame in her final contest as a Beaver.
